док.пол., юр. законы "О Британской Северной Америке" (серия законов британского парламента, изданных в 1867–1975 гг. и регулирующих основы государственного управления в Канаде; в частности, провозгласили Канаду самоуправляющимся доминионом Великобритании; после издания Вестминстерского статута 1931 г. Канада получила право на самостоятельную законодательную систему, однако самостоятельное внесение поправок в законы "O Британской Северной Америке" стало возможным только после принятия британским парламентом соответствующего законодательного акта в 1982 г.; в канадском законодательстве данная серия законов вместе с законом 1982 г. носит название Конституционных законов (Constitutional acts) и является важной частью конституции Канады)See:Англо-русский экономический словарь > British North America Acts
